  • Apple powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha)
  • Fire blight (Erwinia amilovora)
  • Apple scab (Venturia inaequalis)
  • Brown rot of apple (Monilinia fructigena)
and pests (Nematodes, Molluscs, Insects, and Acari):
  • Codling moth (Cydia pomonella)
  • Apple peel tortrix (Adoxophyes orana)
  • Mountain-ash bentwing leafminer (Leucoptera malifoliella)
  • Rosy leaf curling aphid (Dysaphis devecta)
  • European red spider mite (Panonychus ulmi)

Rationale: These are the main pathogens that affect the apple cultivars. They can have large impact on the harvest prospects.
