Text: The PlantCT(TM) System shall provide warning information about the infection probability regarding to the following pathogens:
  • Cherry leaf spot (Blumeriella jaapii)
  • Monilia spp. (Monilinia laxa)
  • Monilia spp. (Monilinia fructigena)
and pests (Nematodes, Molluscs, Insects, and Acari):
  • Black cherry aphid (Myzus cerasi pruniavium)
  • European cherry fruit fly (Rhagoletis cerasi)
  • Cherry bark tortrix (Enarmonia formosana)

Rationale: These are the main pathogens that affect sour cherry. They can actually significantly reduce the harvest prospects.
