Name: Data Upload

Text: The Station Module shall upload periodically all of the measured environmental data from its sensor network (collected since the last successful upload session) to the backend server. The upload period shall be adjustable remotely.

Rationale:The Station Module is inherently incapable to process the measured data by oneself, therefore must be transferred the measured data to the back end server. The sending period must be adjustable since different applications requires different upload intervals. Furthermore, the non-equidistant sending intervals can have quite positive impact on the total amount of the stored data.
