Measurement range (soil temperature): > -25 Grad Celsius .. < +85 Grad Celsius
Measurement depth: < 600mm
Maximal mass: 200 g
Standard deviation error (soil temperature): < 5 %
Standard deviation error (soil moisture): < 5 %
Accuracy (soil temperature): standard deviation error + max. 5 % of the measured value
Accuracy (soil moisture): standard deviation error + 1 %
Resolution (soil moisture): (in case of digitalized output): min 10 bit
Resolution (soil temperature): (in case of digitalized output): min 10 bit

Rationale: These measured parameters serve as inputs for the DSM and the user may also be interested in real time soil data.
