Name: I/O protection
Text: All external signals of the hardware components belonging to the PlanCTTM System shall be protected against the following events:
Rationale: Voltage or current spikes generated by an ESD event or by inadequate use of the I/O ports of device can damage the internal circuitry. All I/O signals that are user accessible or noise sensitive because of the long sensor cables shall be protected against these events.
