Sensor Network
The PlanCTTM System uses measurement data
collected from different environmental sensors to provide decision
support for plant protection operations. These sensors are organized
into a wireless sensor network to provide flexible deployment and
expansion options. A network is consist of a Station Module and several
Universal Sensor Nodes (USN). The environmental sensors are controlled
and powered by these USNs running from alkaline batteries. All collected
data is first transmitted to the Station Module and then periodically
uploaded to the backend server for evaluation.
